Rangers have announced that director of football Mark Allen will depart after two years at Ibrox. Allen informed Rangers he believes it's the right time for him to proceed for family reasons and to explore other career alternatives, along with the club accepted his choice. He joined the team and was instrumental in selecting Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard as recruiting and manager Ryan Kent in the Reds in his or her background. Gerrard said:"I want to convey my sincere gratitude to Mark for its amazing support he has shown me and all my staff because I came into the club 16 weeks ago. "Mark's success here is clear for everyone to see and we would like to wish him well moving ahead." Allen added:"It's been a privilege to use for Rangers, one of the biggest clubs in soccer with such a incredible fan base, and I've loved every moment. "Bringing Steven Gerrard to the club will always be a particular point in my career and I'd like to thank him, the players and most of the fantastic staff in Rangers for his or her support. "My biggest wish is for Rangers to begin winning trophies again and I wish them the very best for the future." Managing manager Stewart Robertson said:"On behalf of the Board, I want to thank Mark for his job. "We are not able to lose him we love the effect he made and he leaves Rangers in a much better place than when he arrived. "Losing a man of the calibre is a blow but the practices he set in place in the club will put us in good stead for the long run. We wish Mark well in his future profession."
