The world champions have been unable to agree a major grudge match - most recently in April when negotiations fell through since Khan rather chose to challenge Terence Crawford, and ultimately dropped. "He wishes to fight in December," Hearn said in Brook who has lately returned to training in Sheffield. "He wants the big fights. He has been there and done it, he would like to have these huge fights, and he feels as though he's got a few left. "He strove to create the Terence Crawford struggle, 147lbs is still tricky for him he could do it with the right quantity of time and preparation. "He has the hunger, and still wants to knock a particular Mr Khan. "We'll see if we can get it on the line." Khan said placing his score before this summer, ahead of his latest fight. "The Brook fight is still on the market, definitely," Khan said. "In Britain it would be a massive fight." Brook was forced to deny rumours that he had retired.
