Christian Eriksen says that he wishes his future could be decided"like in Soccer Manager" after failing to secure a move from Tottenham. The Denmark international, who scored Spurs' opener in their 2-2 derby draw with Arsenal on Sunday, admitted during the summer that he was contemplating leaving the club this summer in order to"try something new". Eriksen, who was connected with a move to Real Madrid, will be at the final year of his contract and is free to sign a pre-contract arrangement from January 1 with European clubs. "I really wish I could pick just enjoy in Football Manager, but sadly I can not," Eriksen told Danish publication Ekstra Bladet. When asked whether the comments he made concerning his potential were a error, Eriksen said:"It was not. However, it is soccer and you will don't know what happens in football. Many items come into play. "To me it is not tricky to clean my head. I do not read much of what is written. "And today I've been involved for several years, where there have been many rumours every year. However, it's clear that it has been fierce this season because my contract is about to expire. "I understand a whole lot of individuals are considering where I really wish to play. That's how it is. This is in case you have done 14, the way that it is in a top club.
