Tight end Darren Waller has even signed up a multi-year extension. According to NFL Networks Tom Pelissero, the contract will run through the 2023 season, consuming what could have been a restricted free agent year in 2020 and subsequently paying Waller about $9m (#6.9m) per year for the three seasons then. The Baltimore Ravens drafted Waller from the sixth round from Georgia Tech at 2015, but he struggled to get playing time and served as a set of suspensions for violating the teams substance-abuse coverage - the second spanning all of the 2017 season. After opening the 2018 year about the Ravens practice group, the Raiders signed Waller and played last season, catching six balls for 75 yards.
