That is why the teams available in plus-money to make the playoffs I enjoy are the Colorado Avalanche (+150) and New Jersey Devils (+110). The Avs and Devils created surprising playoff appearances annually ago, and oddsmakers are definitely expecting a regression heading forward. But both squads seem like they're primed to advance back for the second year in a row and are moving in the right direction, therefore a wager on them in the current cost looks like a solid bet to me. Top stakes to miss the playoffs Sportsbooks and I'm differing on our opinions regarding the postseason hopes of 2 groups: the Columbus Blue Jackets and Dallas Stars. The Blue Jackets, who are +240 to miss the playoffs, have been in for a disappointing year in my eyes. With soon-to-be unrestricted free agents Artemi Panarin and franchise goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky set to hit the open marketplace, I have a sense that the Jackets may deal one (or both) in the trade deadline if they are struggling.
