The horse racing world turns out to Baltimore, Md. this week, where Always Dreaming will continue his quest for a Triple Crown in the next leg, the 142nd functioning of the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course. Ridden by John Velazquez and educated by Todd Fletcher, Always Dreaming won the Kentucky Derby almost two weeks ago as a favored. The horse enters this week as the favored in the Preakness too, with early 10-11 chances to prevail in Pimlico, per OddsShark. In three of the previous five decades, the Kentucky Derby winner also won the Preakness Stakes, with American Pharoah finishing the sport's first Triple Crown in 37 years in 2015.
