The three-headed monster of John Wall, Bradley Beal and Otto Porter Jr. continues to be trending upward. Each guy is moving toward his athletic prime and building chemistry with the other members of the triumvirate while trying to maintain himself as a premier talent at his respective place. Wall is currently there, and another two are not far behind. And if you are concerned about the seat, don't worry --not for the reason you might expect. Last year's second-stringers were atrocious. They routinely wasted leads and dug inevitable holes to the starters. This season's chair set shouldn't be much better, as Tim Frazier, Jodie Meeks and Mike Scott are not exactly marquee additions. And that is almost irrelevant. The non-starters are bad. We are aware that much. However, the starters are still in place, along with the Wizards posted an 8.1 net rating last year when Wall,'' Beal, Porter, Markieff Morris and Marcin Gortat were around the floor together. In spite of the putridity supporting them, they pulled their troops to 49 wins. So again, why should we expect anything else this season, especially when the group was in the second half of through the season's opening salvo?
